A fire thrower hurls molten metal at a stone wall in the village of Nuanquan in Hebei Province, China. Fireworks are very important in Chinese tradition and when the people of this village couldn't afford them, the blacksmiths discovered that if they threw molten metal against a cold stone wall, the result was an explosion of sparks.
